Week 19 Preview
Writing: In Language Skills (Grammar), students will identify similes and personification. In Writing, they will work on their informational drafts. They will also finish this round of Pen Pal letters.
Social Studies: Students will continue to practice analyzing primary documents. They will begin their unit on World War I, learning why the U.S. ultimately decided to join the fight against Germany.
Reading: Students will review how to explain how details support the main idea of nonfiction texts. They will continue responding to and discussing their nonfiction book club picks.
