Announcements
-Tomorrow (March 9) is our tour of Griffin Middle School, 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. Our lunch is rescheduled for 11:51 - 12:21.
-Wednesday, March 11, is early release. Dismissal will be two hours early.
-Students will take their third quarter Reading Inventory and Math Inventory on Thursday, March 12.
-Griffin will host a Rising 6th Grade Information Night Thursday, March 12, 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. Please meet in their cafeteria.
-Sparkles will host a Spirit Night Thursday, March 12, 5 - 9 p.m.
-Friday, March 13, is the end of the third quarter.
-Friday, March 13, is the deadline for all Rock Eagle permission slips and total funds ($180). Please let me know if you have any questions about this!
-Rev Coffee will host a Spirit Morning Saturday, March 14, 7 a.m. - noon.
-Author Shanda McCloskey will visit KSE Wednesday, March 18.
-KSE's STEM night is Thursday, March 19, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at the K-2 campus.
-Third quarter report cards will go home Friday, March 20.
-St. Angelo's will host a Spirit Day Sunday, March 22.
-Our Rock Eagle trip is March 25 - 27!
-Our next KSE Spirit Day is Friday, April 3.

Week 26 Review
Writing: Students identified relative pronouns. They gathered more evidence for their chocolate milk argument papers, analyzed this evidence, and learned how to identify and rebut counterclaims.
Social Studies: Students learned about the New Deal. They began a review project on the Great Depression.
Reading: Students continued to read multiple accounts of the same topic to determine bias. They began reading two articles about the coronavirus and answering comprehension questions.
Week 27 Preview
Writing: Students will practice identifying adjectives. Students will finish their chocolate milk argument essays.
Social Studies: Students will complete their Great Depression projects. They will take their Touchstone quiz on the Great Depression. Students will receive their study guides on Tuesday. The Touchstone quiz will be Friday.
Reading: Students will finish analyzing multiple accounts of the same topic.
